Description:
Night Sky Views at Griffith Observatory With Included Dinner at The Smoke House On this unique evening tour, we'll experience two of L.A.'s most iconic destinations - the historic Smoke House restaurant and the iconic Griffith Observatory. First, enjoy an included early dinner (approximately 4:00 p.m.) with choice of entrée, dessert and the "world's greatest garlic cheese bread" at the beloved Smoke House. One of Hollywood's oldest hangouts, this legendary restaurant adjacent to Warner Bros. Studio has served up "fine food at a fair price" since 1946. The restaurant is frequented by television and film stars and its old-school style and décor that epitomizes "Old Hollywood" continues to be featured in films. As the sun goes down and the stars come out, we'll arrive at the Griffith Observatory, Southern California's gateway to the cosmos! Built in 1935 on Mount Hollywood's south facing slop, this recently restored Art Deco masterpiece provides unparalleled views of Hollywood and the downtown L.A. skyline. Enjoy approximately three hours at leisure to enjoy the views, gaze through telescopes (weather permitting), explore the magnificent astronomical exhibits, browse the gift shop and watch the Leonard Nimoy-narrated film, The Once and Future Griffith Observatory. The new Planetarium show, Signs of Life explores what it took to put life in the universe in the one place where we know it exists. Planetarium tickets cannot be guaranteed as they are available for an additional fee ($8 seniors/$10 adults) on a first-come-first-served basis upon arrival at the Observatory only
