Description:

This intermediate course is intended for the student who has previous floral design experience. Instruction will include industry terminology, identification of flowers, designing with structure, line, form, mass, balance, symmetry, and proportion to scale. Hands-on design projects will incorporate ribbon marking, taping and wiring, and abstract concepts that will bring harmony, color and form to all your seasonal arrangements. Students will need to bring a pair of pruning shears to class. This class is a pre-requisite to the advance floral design and shop management courses. A material fee of $300 is payable to the instructor who will provide each registered student all floral designing supplies. Students will receive a certificate of completion only after 62 hours of instruction that include Introduction to Floral Design, Intermediate Floral Design, Advance Floral Design and Shop Management.
