Commencement will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018

at the Santa Ana Bowl, located on the corner of Flower St.

and Civic Center Dr. in Santa Ana. Parking opens at 4:00p.m.

Line-up: 5:00p.m. Students must be lined-up at 5:00p.m.

and ready to enter the field. Commencement signs will direct 

students to the line-up area.

Commencement exercises will begin at 5:30p.m. SHARP.

Please note: ceremony may not be appropriate for small children.

 

Prohibited Items

NO BALLOONS OR FLOWERS IN VASES ALLOWED IN THE STADIUM
NO FOOD, NO GUM & NO HEELS ALLOWED ON THE COMMENCEMENT FIELD

Cap & Gown

All graduates may purchase caps and gowns for $35.00 in the Don Bookstore. You will pick up your cap and gown at the time of purchase, which will automatically register you for the commencement ceremony.

You may use your own cap & gown ONLY if it is black, but you must still register at the bookstore to participate in commencement. 

If you are not planning to participate in the ceremony, you can purchase a tassel at the bookstore for $6.00. If you lose or forget your tassel at the ceremony, you must purchase another one.

Name Cards

Each student must present a name card to the reader during the commencement ceremony. Cards will be attached to the graduate reminders flyer at the bookstore when you purchase cap & gown. Additional name cards will be available at The Santa Ana Bowl immediately prior to the ceremony.
