The global business and Entrepreneurship department is designed to provide students and business practicioners, including those already involved in a business, with hands on exposure to the foundations of business
You can obtain a degree, transfer to a four year university, or obtain a certificate. Some Certificates can be obtained in as little as a semester. students will have the opportunity to gain rela world experience with case studies and simulations, as well as internship opportunities
The GBE department consists of 4 Academic Programs:
1. International Business
When meeting with a foreign business official, should you shake hands, bow or kiss? A Simple question, but the answer varies depending on the part of the world you do business in. With business becoming more globalized, it is more important then ever for future business leaders to understand how to properly navigate international laws and customs to do business successfully.
2. Entrepreneurship
Whether you have an idea for a new product or service, or whether youyou want to improve an existing product or service, entrepreneurship
3. Management
The leaders of the business world must be well versed in all forms of business to succeed. They must lead, they must inspire, and they must plan. They will keep things steady when the business is going well and must will shange plans when the business is doing poorly.
4. Marketing
The marketing team forms the bridge between the business and the consumers. They will inform their audience about the product or service that the business is providing. Marketers must be able to understand who their audience is and understand how to properly communicate their message.
The Global Business program Allows Students to explore several industries including technology, automotive, banking, fashion, health, sprotes, entertainment, and more!
Students will get Hands-On experience in several sectors of the business world, including accounting, marketing, purchasing, Human Resources, Sales and more!
