(Santa Ana, CA) – Santa Ana College (SAC) proudly announces the launch of the SAC Alumni Network, a new initiative designed to honor more than 110 years of alumni while creating meaningful opportunities for connection and engagement. From business leaders and educators to artists, public servants, and innovators, SAC alumni have long carried the college's legacy into the world. The new SAC Alumni Network, under the Office of College Advancement, reaffirms the achievements of alumni and shines light on their impact by providing a structured platform for alumni to reconnect, celebrate shared roots, and strengthen ties with the campus community.
“No matter when they graduated, our alumni remain an essential part of the Santa Ana College family," said Dr. Annebelle Nery, President of Santa Ana College. “Their stories, their achievements, and their success reflect the best of what SAC stands for. With the launch of the SAC Alumni Network, we're creating opportunities for alumni to reconnect, be celebrated, and give back to current and future students, in ways that inspire the next generation. Whether they bring their time, their treasure, their voice, their mentorship, or simply their presence, we want them to know they are always welcome at Santa Ana College."
The Alumni Network will engage alumni and has anchored its work in four pillars: Connection, Storytelling & Celebration, Communication, and Contribution. Through these pillars, SAC alumni will have pathways to engage with one another, share their personal and professional journeys, and contribute to the growth of future generations of Dons. “This network is about more than staying in touch," said Melissa Felter, Director of Special Programs, Development & Alumni Relations, “It is about building a community around a shared experience. It's about recognizing that Santa Ana College and its student body wouldn't be what it is today without its alumni, and, most importantly, inviting them to be part of what comes next."

To mark this exciting new chapter, The SAC Advancement Office will host its first Alumni Mixer on December 4 from 5 PM – 7PM, inviting all Dons to return to campus, reconnect, and discover what's new at the college they helped build. Space is limited and the event is expected to fill quickly. To reserve your spot, RSVP now and visit www.givetosac.org/alumni for full program and event details.
Santa Ana College is not just a place students attend—it's a community they carry with them. With the launch of the SAC Alumni Network, the college affirms its commitment to honoring the people who built its past, staying connected to them in the present, and inviting them to help shape its future, our students and our college.
