CCCApply ID.me Verification
Starting February 2, 2024, CCCApply will be integrating identity verification through
ID.me.
ID.me will help protect student identities and prevent fraudulent students from taking spots in SAC classes.
Certain populations of students won't be able to use ID.me:
No valid identity documentation from country of origin
No permanent address (housing insecure/homeless)
No internet access or a smartphone (incarcerated)
Minors
For students that aren’t able to use ID.me, there will be 24/7 student support that will allow you to connect via live chat to verify your identity. You will also be able to verify in person with SAC Admissions and Records.
Your verified status will last for one year.
ID.me is the fastest and quickest option to verify your identity allowing you to enroll and register classes sooner, so we highly encourage all students to use this expedited process.
If you’re currently enrolled, these changes will not impact you at this time. They will come into effect if you have a lapse of enrollment over one year and need to reapply.
