(Santa Ana) - The joy and imagination of the holiday season come together with a worthwhile cause at the Pageant of the Trees, Santa Ana College (SAC) Foundation’s signature fundraiser. The ninth annual event is slated for Wednesday, December 7 at 6:00 p.m. at First American Corporation, 5 First American Way, Santa Ana, CA 92707.
The Santa Ana College Foundation has assembled more than 20 delightful tabletop Christmas trees and wreaths decorated by students, staff, faculty and community partners that will be the centerpiece of the Ninth Annual Pageant of the Trees. This year’s tree themes include “Spirit of Christmas,” “The Attack of the Comic Book Xmas Tree,” “A Year of the Dragon,” “Viva Las Vegas,” “Children Celebrating around the World,” and more.
While guests enjoy an evening of hors d’oeuvres, music, and holiday festivities, they will be busy placing their bids on a collection of originally designed holiday trees—all available to the lucky, highest bidder. The holiday auction benefits SAC student scholarships and college programs.
“This magical event kicks off the holiday season and demonstrates the generous spirit of Orange County. With the recent, unprecedented cuts that our community college has sustained, the support Santa Ana College receives from our friends and alumni through this signature event is more important than ever,” said Kristin Crellin, president of the Santa Ana College Foundation Board of Directors and executive director, school and community relations, SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union.
The First American Financial Corporation, the evening’s premier sponsor and host, is joined by the following additional event sponsors: SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union; Aitken, Aitken & Cohn; Bernards; Tracy Industries, Inc.; Garden Grove Hospital; and HMC Architects.
Tickets are $125 for five-star dining and a host bar. Space is limited. For reservations, call (714) 564-6091 or visit www.sac.edu/foundation.
