WHAT Since 1999, the Student Leadership Institute (SLI), sponsored by Santa Ana College and California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), has brought together students and professionals for two days of training focused on honing leadership skills in a select group of 70 college students.
SLI is non-credit, certificate-bearing leadership program that consists of nine one and two-hour workshops. Topics covered include: communications skills, the diverse community, effective leadership, public speaking, marketing your leadership abilities, time management, creating networks, ethical decision-making, and teamwork.
