This training provides an empathetic framework to help members approach conflict as an opportunity for growth and relationship-building. By reframing conflict, members will learn to address unmet needs and strengthen their communities. Participants will engage in group discussions, watch a short video, and apply a five-step conflict resolution process to a personal scenario they wish to resolve, followed by a group share-out.​

Emotional intelligence is key to long-term success, both personally and professionally. This training explores the qualities of emotional intelligence and how they can enhance leadership and interpersonal relationships within CSEA. Attendees will reflect on past experiences, identify emotional triggers, and learn strategies for better self-regulation during stressful situations. Activities include group discussions and a fun game of emotional charades to test the ability to recognize emotional states through nonverbal cues.
