Welcome to SAC Manufacturing Technology
Manufacturing technology is evolving. Gone are the days of blue-collar workers performing manual labor to construct objects. The use of new technology has changed manufacturing to have parts constructed under computer numerical control (CNC), and machine tools controlled using computer software. CNC allows for faster and more precise movements than what is allowed in traditional machining. More companies are turning to CNC machining for their manufacturing needs.
Over the next five years, more than 2000 job openings are projected for fields in manufacturing technology, yearly.
Salary for workers is expected to be as follows:
Entry Level:
| $14-$15 per hour |
---|
Median: | $19-$20 per hour |
---|
Experienced:
| $28-$30 per hour
