| Victor Cota, Ph.D., MSWVictor is a Service Chief with the County of Orange, Health Care Agency, Children and Youth Behavioral Health. He is a licensed clinical social worker. He earned a doctorate degree in social work from the University of Southern California and a Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Sacramento. He is a graduate of Santa Ana High School, Santa Ana College and Cal State Fullerton. Both of his undergraduate degrees are in Communications, with an emphasis in Journalism. Victor was inducted into the Santa Ana College Hall of Fame in 2005 for his academic and professional contributions. Victor is an adjunct professor at SAC. He also has been an adjunct professor in the School of Social Work at USC. He is a regular speaker in high schools and colleges, motivating students to achieve academic success and strive for excellence.
He is involved in many community activities, including current board membership in the Kevin Armstrong, M.D. Memorial Sports Foundation and the Irvine High School Teammates for Life Foundation, and past board membership with the Girl Scouts of Orange County. He coached youth sports for many years.
Victor was born in Tijuana and immigrated to the United States when he was 8 years old. He is the ninth of 10 children.
