BYRD HONORS SCHOLARSHIPS This federally funded program provides college scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and show promise of continued academic achievement in college.  For the 2002-2003 school year, the scholarship award was $1,500.  These scholarships are renewable for up to four years of accredited post secondary study in the United States.  Selection is based on unweighted grades and SAT/ACT scores.  Robert C.
