WELCOME

Welcome to the Santa Ana College Child Development Center (SAC/CDC) webpage.  The staff and I are pleased that you have taken the time to get to know us a little better.  We are licensed by the State Department of Social Services/Community Care Licensing and meets the Desired Results Standards of the California Department of Education Child Development Division, the source of our subsidized funding.  In addition, SAC/CDC is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and has been designated as one of Orange County’s Five Star Quality centers.  The center not only provides care for children and families, it also serves as a laboratory site for college students as they prepare to become teachers.

Providing safe, high quality and nurturing early care and development services to the children we serve is our highest priority. We are consistently striving to improve our services and to meet each child’s individual and developmental needs.  Therefore, we encourage staff and parents to develop respectful and caring partnerships that support each child’s love of learning.  Each child’s success is part of family success and we welcome and embrace regular family involvement.
