Some Recent Performances of Original Compositions
Many works have been composed and performed by various ensembles and individuals for recitals, festivals and radio including the SCREAM festival, the Betty Freeman Sunday Musicale series, CalArts Contemporary Music Festival, USC Orchestra, KPFK, and many others.
October 2013 – Blue Line for clarinet, violin, cello,
and piano performed on the 2013 Aries Composers Festival at Colorado State
June 2013 – Stubb’s Rigadig Tune performed by
the Ironworks Percussion group at California State University, Long Beach.
June 2013 - Due Pezzi Perpetua for three tubas performed at the Miraphone Tuba
Euphonium Academy of the West at Arizona State
May 2013 – premiere performance of Due Pezzi Perpetua for three tubas at
the ITEA Conference at University of Redlands, CA, commissioned by a consortium
of musicians organized by Holben Publishing.
February 2013 – Stubb’s Rigadig Tune performed by J. D. Salas at Stephen H. Austin
State University in Nacogdoches Texas.
December 2012 – Three Turning Pieces for Piano performed by Judy Huang at Carnegie
July 2012 – Stubb’s Rigadig Tune performed by David Saltzman in Toledo Ohio
November 2011 – Stubb’s Rigadig Tune commissioned by a national consortium of brass
musicians and performed at California State University Long Beach.
September 2010 – Blue Line for clarinet, violin, cello and piano performed by the
Santa Ana College New Music Group and by the Divan Consort.
June 2010 – CD release: Fridays On the Queen. Original and standard jazz compositions for
piano. Available on iTunes and CD Baby.
September 2009 - Chant
for tuba and piano performed by Dr. Angelo Manzo at University of Missouri,
Steven F. Austin University, Arkansas State University, University of
Tennessee, and University of Memphis.
September 2009 - Kala Kalimba for harp, piano, violin and
cello performed by the Santa Ana New Music Group at Whittier College, Santa Ana
College, and for the American Harp Association Conference.
September 2008 – A Noiseless Patient Spider for harp,
percussion, violin and soprano performed by the Santa Ana New Music Group at
Santa Ana College and Whittier College
June 2008 – Chant for tuba and piano published by
May 2008 - Elegy on the Death of Pluto performed by
Irvine Valley College Wind Symphony.
October 2007 – Chant for tuba and piano performed at
the International Tuba Euphonium Association conference at Biola
2007 - Fastball for soprano and
performance by Melody Versoza and Brian Kehlenbach at the Ruth B. Shannon
Center for the Performing Arts at Whittier College.
Summer of 2006 – Bless Each Syllable commissioned and
performed by the Biola Youth Theatre at Biola University.
Spring of 2006 – Three Turning Pieces for piano performed
in recital at Santa Ana College.
