Jeremy Hahn travels though life with an extensive background in the performing, visual and healing arts. He received his Masters of Fine Arts in Dance from California State University, Long Beach in 2013 where he was the recipient of the Distinguished Achievement in Creativity Award. Throughout his career Hahn has had the privilege of working with numerous choreographers and companies from various performance disciplines including: Loretta Livingston and Dancers, Carol McDowell, Cyrus Parker - Jeannette, Lucent Dossier Experience, Invertigo Dance Theatre, R.A.I.D. (Random Acts of Irreverent Dance), String Theory, Kristen Smiarowski, Kara Miller, Meg Wolfe, Michelle "Star" LaVon and many others. Hahn has presented his choreography nationally and internationally beginning in 2004 when he performed his senior solo, Ashes of Leaves, at the National American College Dance Festival Gala at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. As a choreographer he currently explores how dance and ritual converge particularly during the rehearsal process to deepen performer’s expressivity, connectivity, and creativity. Furthermore, these artistic investigations have inspired his curiosity concerning the healing capabilities of dance.
