GENERAL INFORMATION
Community Services classes are those of special interest or
those designed for a specific audience or need. They are
noncredit, usually shorter in duration than credit classes, and
do not require lengthy preparation or rigorous testing. From the
creative arts and financial management to computer software and
special tours, these programs are offered to the general public
for educational, cultural, social and recreational purposes.
Registration Fees:
You need to register and pay your registration fees in advance.
It is important that you register as early as possible to assure
a space in the class of your choice. Although you may register
for a class up until the day it is held, there are no guarantees
that there will be a seat available for you. Classes fill up
early, so please watch your calendar and observe our
registration hours.
Refunds & Transfers:
Refund and transfer requests must be made three (3) business
days prior to the event and charged a $ 10 processing fee per
person, per class. If you are unable to attend a class, you may
send a substitute in your place. TRAVEL TOURS may be canceled
up to to business days prior to departure less a $ 15 processing
fee. A refund will not be issued if your space can be re-sold.
Non-receipt of confirmation does not warrant a refund. No
refunds will be given once a class has been held - no
exceptions. Classes that do not meet a minimum number of
participants may be cancelled. In the event this should happen,
participants will be notified in advance and issued a refund in
full.
Parking Policy:
Daily parking permits are available for $ 1.00 (coin or dollar)
at Santa Ana College, Lots 8, 9, 11. Daily permits should be
placed face-up on your car dashboard. See
campus maps for Parking Permit Dispenser lot locations.
Parking is free on Fridays after 5:00pm, weekends, and at off
campus sites.
Dishonored Checks:
A $25.00 fee will be charged for a check returned for any
reason. In addition, an administration hold will be placed
against your student records and a class stop may be issued.
