Ready to use your VA Education Benefits under the GI Bill®?  Welcome!  Our office is here to assist you in this process.

The Veterans Affairs Office is located in the Veterans Resource Center.

Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
*Closed on District Holidays.
Hours are subject to change without notice.  Please call ahead to confirm hours.
 

The VRC will be closed from December 19 at 11 a.m. through January 2, 2015
We will resume our normal business hours on January 5th, 2015.

Santa Ana College is approved by the California Office of Private Postsecondary Education for the training of veterans and eligible dependents. Educational and vocational opportunities are available for college credit. Opportunities include associate degrees, certificates programs, and transfer programs to a four year institution.
 
The Veterans Affairs Office housed in the Veterans Resource Center assists veterans and dependents eligible to receive educational benefits. This office provides support by assisting eligible students in completing appropriate applications. The VA office generally acts as a liaison between the veteran and/or eligible dependent and the college as well as other government agencies.

If you need any help making your choice, VA Vocational and Employment counseling help is available to all veterans toll free at 1-800-827-1000. You can also discuss your options with a VA education benefits specialist by calling toll-free 1-888-GIBILL-1 (1-888-442-4551) or TDD at (800) 829-4833.

​​March 2, 2013 ​Deadline to be considered for CalGrants. Must submit FAFSA and GPA verification by this date, for the 2013/2014 Academic Year
March 27-29, 2013 ​Campus Closed - Spring Break (VRC is open on March 25-26)
April 10 & 11, 2013 ​Fall 2013 1st round of Veterans Priority Registration (2 day window only)
April 28, 2013 ​Last day to drop a full Spring 2013 semester class with a "W" grade.
May 13, 2013 ​Summer 2013 Veterans Priority Registration
