The Associate of Arts Degree and Certificate curriculum in library technology are designed to successfully prepare students for employment as library technicians, library assistants, library media technicians and other library support staff positions in school, public, special or academic libraries. Course content covers terminology, organization, procedures, standards, and practices. This program also offers additional training and certification for para-professionals who are already employed in the field.
Courses are offered during Fall & Spring semesters only.
- LT 053 Library Internship (the last required course of the program), is offered every fall and spring semester
- LT 101 Introduction to Library Technology is offered every spring semester.
