ORIENTATION
The International Student Orientation is a comprehensive advising, registration and orientation program that is intended to ensure the smooth transition of first time freshmen and transfer students to Santa Ana College. Participation affords you an opportunity for EARLIER REGISTRATION. However, you must be formally ADMITTED to college in order to attend.
The program begins with check-in at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at approximately 5:00 p.m. each day. Participation is limited to students only. Attendance at one of the Orientation Sessions is mandatory.
Academic counselors conduct group-advising sessions that will focus on general education, major requirements, testing, the selection of appropriate classes and registration. Students also have the opportunity to meet individually with a counselor for major advising. They will also be introduced to support services and resources that are available on campus, meet other students, staff & faculty, and gain a general orientation to campus life.
