The CARE Program provides services to single parent students who are EOPS eligible and are receiving cash aid/public assistance which are "Over and Above" what can be received elsewhere on campus. The goal is to provide these services to those cash aid recipients who are full-time students and to assist them in developing the skills and opportunities to become economically self-sufficient.
The CalWORKs Program provides temporary financial assistance and employment-focused services to families with minor children who have income and property below state maximum limits for their family size.
The YESS Program is available to qualified students who have emancipated from the foster care system; were in the foster care system after their 13th birthday and who are currently between the ages of 16 and 24. The YESS Program provides additional support to help make education a reality for emancipated foster youth.
