​What is U-LINK?

University Link (U-LINK) is a transfer program that has a guaranteed  admissions to UCI. This program is open to all students, particularly students in the Santa Ana Unified School District.

​Program Benefits & Services

• Guaranteed admission to UC Irvine upon completion of program requirements 
  
• Must be a Santa Ana College (SAC) student 
  
• Welcome new students 
  
• Educational planning appropriate for AA & Transfer 
  
• Academic personal support 
  
• UC Irvine library privileges 
  
• UC Irvine on-campus programs and activities throughout the year. 
  
• Assistance with selecting a major* 
  
• Opportunities for informal internships
  *Some majors are excluded from the guaranteed admissions 
  

• Complete placement tests at SAC & place into English 101 and Math 081 
  
• Complete all SAC courses with a minimum 3.0 GPA 
  
• Complete transfer preparation courses within three years. 
  
• Meet with your U-link counselor once a semester 
  
• Complete U-link activities throughout the semester when required 
  
• Agree to release academic progress information to UCI 
  
• Apply for financial aid & scholarships 
  
• Complete 100 Service Learning hours
