Transfer Student Plan of Action (Timeline and Checklist) If you are planning to transfer out to a four-year university or college, we have created a Transfer Student Plan of Action. This is a helpful timeline with steps to take as you prepare to apply. 
For more information contact the University Transfer Center and/or schedule an appointment with a Transfer Counselor. 
Make sure you download and save it as a word document, then you can start working on your own timeline!

ASSIST​ - ​The official transfer and articulation system for California's public colleges and universities. This resource lists courses that fulfill university admission requirements, major and general education requirements, and university graduation requirements. It also lists transferable elective courses that can be used to reach the number of units needed to transfer to a university.

CollegeSource Online​ - This site ​allows you to access a database of nearly 150,000 digital college catalogs, institution profiles, transcript keys, and other resources.

Cross Enrollment - The Cross Enrollment Program legislation permits undergraduate students enrolled in any California Community College, the California State University, or the University of California campuses to enroll without formal admission in a maximum of one course per academic term at a campus of either of the other systems on a space-available basis.

​Associate in Arts/Science for Transfer (AA-T/AS-T) - California Community Colleges and partnering institutions created this transfer program to make it easier for your to transfer to a guaranteed spot at a participating four-year university. Here at SAC, we offer a number of Associate Degrees for Transfer. Visit this resource or come by the University Transfer Center to learn more.

UC Transfer Pathways - UC Transfer Pathways provide students with roadmaps to 21 of the most popular majors at any UC campus. These pathways will be especially helpful to students who know (or have a general idea) of a major they would like to study, but have not decided which UC campuses they would like to apply to. Visit this resource to learn more and explore the 21 pathways.

Campus Explorer​ - This is a free resource that helps all types of students find the schools that best match their higher education needs. Campus Explorer provides pricing, transparency, scholarship information, college rankings, and other key details on over 8,500 US colleges, universities, and trade schools.

CareerOneStop - This is the flagship career, training, and job search website for the U.S. Department of Labor. The websites serves job seekers, businesses, students, and career advisors with a variety of free online tools, information, and resources. ​

Accessing CSUF Student Portal - After your submit your application to CSUF, you will receive an email prompting you to log into your student portal. ​Use this resource to log in for the first time and be sure to log in consistently to view to-do list items.
