Center for Teacher Education Information Sessions/*STEM Teaching Scholars/Mentors at Mendez Program

The Center for Teacher Education counselor will provide an overview of the teaching profession.  Additionally, the session will provide information on the many pathways to becoming a teacher, various program requirements, and career opportunities.  The first three sessions will also include information on the STEM Teaching Scholars Fieldwork Program.   We invite you to attend!

University Representative from Cal State Fullerton

Meet directly with a representative from CSU Fullerton's Center for Careers in Teaching to receive advisement on the requirements needed to transfer into one of their teacher preparation programs.  Upcoming appointment dates and times can be found below.  To schedule an appointment, please stop by our office in S-110 or call us at (714) 564-6352.

STEM Teaching Fieldwork Experience

Students gain fieldwork experience through visits to local businesses.  Participation in these events generate excitement and awareness of the various STEM teaching career paths available.

CBEST Study Circles

CBEST study circles are free tutoring sessions for students planning to take the CBEST.  It specifically offers tutoring for the math and writing portions of the CBEST through a series of workshops.  Students are recommended to attend all of the sessions which are conducted by credentialed teachers.
