Freshman Experience Program

 

What is Fresh​man Experience (FEP)?

  • Dedicated to helping new students succeed in college.

  • First-time freshmen at Santa Ana College are eligible to join this special program designed to increase student retention and success.

  • Freshman Experience (FEP) links classes together to provide a learning environment where students and teachers work closely together.

  • Instructors also work together as a team to visit each other’s classes and coordinate activities together.​

 
 
 
 
 

What is Learning Communities II (LCII)?

 
  • Modeled after the Freshman Experience Program and is designed for second year students attending Santa Ana College.

  • Learning Communities II offers the same learning environment and high level of involvement towards student’s success as the Freshman Experience Program.

  • Instructors and students working closely together in Learning Communities II contributes to improved transfer rates.​

  • Second year students may participate in Santa Ana College’s Learning Communities II Program.
