The Santa Ana College - School of Continuing Education Counseling Department has many programs to help our students with their school, personal, and career.
STUDENT ORIENTATION:
Counselors give individual and group orientations about credit and non-credit services and programs. Students who want to go to college and/or want information about foreign transcripts revalidation can make an appointment in the counseling office.
All new students can go to the counseling orientations to help explain educational and career goals and know about the California Educational System.
ACADEMIC:
Counseling can help you look for educational choices, create a right course of study, look into lifelong goals and help in the career and job search areas.
PERSONAL:
Counselors are here to help you with problems that may be damaging your daily functioning and learning. The emphasis is on short-term counseling focusing on the problem, crisis, and other areas of concern. When appropriate, counselors may refer students to other professional services in the community.
VOCATIONAL:
Counselors can help you in looking into career and life goals, like choosing a major, and looking into career areas you are interested in.
