COSMIC CAMP - This Summer!


(AGES 8-12)


Get ready for a cosmic blast that will launch you into the stratosphere! Take a trip through

galaxies, identify constellations in the summer sky, and the Mysteries of the Cosmos. Students

will marvel as comets are created right before their eyes, while having fun building, sculpting

and designing planetary and interstellar projects.

Tessmann Mission: To ignite the flame of understanding and inspiration for our college students, staff, and community through education and exploration of our Universe.​

The Tessmann Planetarium is a 100-seat planetarium located on the campus of Santa Ana College in Santa Ana, California, in the heart of Orange County.  This facility has been inspiring students to study and discover careers in science, education and engineering for almost fifty years by bringing to life the wonders of the universe for anyone with an interest in astronomy and the space program.

As scientists unravel the complexities of the cosmos, key findings are revealing amazing new frontiers for exploration. Come along on a journey about what we already know and about the mysteries we have yet to solve. Travel beyond the night sky and into deep space to find out how discoveries over the past 100 years have led us to the pivotal moments that have brought us unprecedented knowledge of the universe and our place in it.
