Each student must demonstrate a minimum typing proficiency of 30 words-per-minute, with at least 95% accuracy, before enrolling in PHAR 056, 060, or 072. If you cannot type at this level, you may take a typing class or practice on your own to build your speed and accuracy. Computers are available on campus for practice purposes.
Typing tests are given on the computers in the Pharmacy Technology Department, at scheduled times throughout the year. Typing proficiency must be documented before you register in either of the lab classes. Call 714-564-6622 for the typing test schedule.
Typing tests are given at regularly scheduled times in the Pharmacy Technology classroom (H-210) during the Fall and Spring semesters. Occasional tests may be scheduled during the summer session. Check the classroom bulletin board or call 564-6622 for the schedule of typing tests.
Typing tests can be repeated until a passing score is achieved. There is no charge for the typing tests.
