Canvas
Canvas Student Resources and Help
TechConnect Zoom
TechConnect Zoom is a videoconferencing tool that allows you to communicate and
collaborate online in real-time using text, video, and audio. It's similar to group texting, but in a secure environment with your classmates and instructor. You can speak, share webcam video,
chat, screen-share, and use white board tools. TechConnect Zoom can operate on PCs,
laptops, tablets and smartphones.
Pronto
Pronto is an easy-to-use communication platform that scales for large organizations. It provides a means of synchronous chat/video/audio/images, much like your own group phone messages, with only course enrolled students in your Pronto group. Access is from the Pronto app or Canvas course.
Proctorio in Canvas
Proctorio is software that allows student monitoring during an exam by webcam for your faculty to observe in a time delay. The software provides identification validation and activity monitoring during an online exam.
ePortfolios in Canvas
ePortfolio is a Canvas tool available at Santa Ana College where
students can portray competency work, including any related artifacts
that demonstrate how learning objectives have been met or specific
training accomplished.
MS 365
Microsoft 365 is available free for SAC students. Use online versions of Microsoft Word,
Excel, OneNote and PowerPoint. Share and save documents, spreadsheets
and presentations online.
NetTutor
NetTutor is a free, online tutoring service that provides one-on-one
virtual tutoring sessions with a professional tutor; as well as a
Question Center, which allows students to privately post a question and
receive a personalized answer within 24-hours in a variety of subjects.
NameCoach
NameCoach
is an easy-to-use tool that allows students, faculty, and administrators to
record how their name should be pronounced and identify their personal gender
pronouns.
eTextbooks (Library)
Access Free eTextbooks and other online resources at the Santa Ana College Nealley Library.
Adobe Creative Cloud
Adobe Creative Cloud has been integrated in Canvas. This allows students to access Adobe Creative Cloud suite directly from Canvas course. How to Access Adobe Creative Cloud.
