International Student Orientation
The International Student Orientation is comprehensive advising, registration, and orientation program intended to ensure first-time and transfer students' smooth transition to Santa Ana College. Attendance at the Orientation is mandatory.
The program begins with check-in at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at approximately 4:00 p.m. each day. Academic counselors conduct group-advising sessions focusing on general education, major requirements, testing, selecting appropriate classes, and registration. Students will have the opportunity to meet individually with a counselor for major advising. They will also be introduced to support services and resources available on campus, meet other students, staff & faculty, and gain a general orientation to campus life.

Registering for International Student OrientationAdmitted students will receive an Orientation reservation form in the mail with their acceptance packet. The Orientation will include counseling, testing, workshops, and registration. Students are provided with a college catalog, schedule of classes, academic handbook, parking, lunch, and sponsored activities. At the end of your Orientation, you will receive a printout of your class schedule and a photo identification card.
