All SAUSD (Santa Ana Unified School District) students who graduate in spring 2016 (and thereafter) are eligible to participate in the program. An SAUSD student is one who attends a school under the authority of the SAUSD Board of Education. Dependent Charter Schools are eligible for the Tuition Scholarship and Independent Charter Schools are not. Charter school students can determine if they are eligible by checking the SAUSD website.
Tuition at SAC is set by the state at a cost of $46 per unit. The tuition bill for a full time student who attends SAC for the fall and spring is $1,104. This will be fully covered by the tuition scholarship.
